YouTube announces journalism contest

This is pretty interesting and definitely worth watching.
The first part of the contest is to make a video profile of someone. Videos have to be original, in English and under 3 minutes.
Prizes, scoring and other details will be announced in September.

Joe O’Shea, a native of Clearwater, FL, is a senior double majoring in philosophy and social science and currently serves as FSU Student Body President. A Rhodes and Truman Scholar, Joe has been named one of the top ten male undergraduates in the country by USA Today. His future plans include degrees in social policy and law and a career as a social entrepreneur solving some of society’s most persistent social problems.
Joe’s activities have ranged from founding a free health clinic in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans that sees 10,000 patients a year to serving as president of numerous student groups on campus. He has also been involved with the campaign to provide healthcare to Leon County’s working families, co-founded a non-profit for international service-based student exchanges, and partnered to construct a technical school in Rwanda. He is also an active member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. His interests include politics, philosophy, sports, and enjoying the outdoors.
